Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), licensed to practice in the state of California, evaluates and treats patients/residents with communication disorders and swallowing deficits arising from physical disabilities, communicates with families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.  Provides Skilled Speech Therapy services including treatment planning & implementation, and discharge planning.  Tests patient’s physical abilities analyzing rehabilitation goals; consult with rehab team to coordinate the most effective Speech Therapy program.
